UCI MED 40

UCI MED 40 is a steam powder activated carbon, manufactured entirely from selected natural wood. This grade is meeting the requirements of European, US and Indian Pharmacopoeia.

Due to its high power of adsorption and its ultra high purity, this activated carbon is suitable to treat important troubles of the gastro-intestinal tract: oral carbon is suitable to treat important troubles of the gastro-intestinal tract: oralintoxication and diarrhea.

A specific thermal treatment under pressured steam can be performed.

It leads to reduce the microbial contamination to a non detectable

value. Without this treatment, this contamination is around 300 CFU

• 250 kg PP Jumbo Bags on pallet

• 3 x 10 kg LDPE bag in a HDPE bag – 8 bags on shrink-wrapped pallet

44 pallets per 40 FCL and 20 pallets per 20 FCL
