No synthetic chemicals in the base carbon production process. Activation uses steam and CO₂.

Family-owned and operated since 1969. No private equity. No absentee management. Decisions made by the people who live near the facilities.

Long-term employment. Many of our workers represent second-generation employment — families whose parents also worked at Rajindra Carbons.

Training and technical development. On-site QC lab training, testing certification, and regular skill upgrades aligned to international standards.

Kerala facility community. Our coconut carbonisation plant provides stable employment in a rural agricultural area, supporting the local coconut supply chain.

The circular logic of activated carbon

There is a certain symmetry to what we do. The raw materials — pine, poplar, coconut shell — are grown in managed forests and farms. The production process uses no harmful solvents. The finished product is used to purify water that sustains communities and ecosystems.

Activated carbon is not a petrochemical. It does not persist in the environment. Spent carbon can be reactivated, reducing both waste and the demand for new production.

We have been part of this cycle for 55 years. We intend to continue — generation after generation.

Our supply chain commitment

Own farmlands — North India

Pine, poplar, babool, and eucalyptus. Managed planting and harvest schedules. No reliance on open-market wood pulp.

Own coconut facility — Kerala

In-house carbonisation from raw shell. Coconut shell is agricultural waste — we convert it into high-value purification material.
